What To Check First

Before submitting a support request, take a moment to review your recent transactions and purchases. Follow these steps to identify the Discord charges to ensure we provide the right assistance:

Look for "DISCORD*" or "PAYPAL DISCORD" on your bank statement—these are the official Discord payment descriptors.
For any unrecognized purchases made on Discord using your iOS device, you will need to request a refund for those purchases directly from the iOS App Store.
For any unrecognized purchases made on Discord using Google Play, you will also need to request a refund directly from the Google Play Store.

What to Do When Someone You Know Makes an Unauthorized Discord Charge on Your Account

To report unrecognized charges on your Discord account made by someone you know, follow the steps that match your situation:

If the Charges are on Your Own Discord Account

Check if the unrecognized charges appear on your own Discord account. If so, follow these steps:

1. Submit a ticket using our support form.

2. Select "I have a question regarding my purchase/payment method" under Type of Billing Issue.

3. Select "I want a refund" under “How can we help you with your purchase?”.

If the Charges are on Someone Else's Discord Account

If the charges appear on another person's Discord account, have them submit a refund request at https://dis.gd/billing using the email address associated with their account.

If You Have Access to Their Email

If the charges are on someone else's account and they can't submit a support request themselves, you can submit one on their behalf using the email address linked to their Discord account:

1. In the support form, select “I have a question/issue regarding an unauthorized transaction” under Type of Billing Issue.

2. Select “Family Member of a user” under Type of Issue.

3. Select “Yes” when asked “Is the email provided associated with your family member's Discord account?”.

If You Cannot Access Their Email or Contact the Account Owner

If you can't submit a support request from the email address associated with the Discord account or contact the account owner directly, follow these steps:

1. In the support form, select “I have a question/issue regarding an unauthorized transaction” under Type of Billing Issue.

2. Select "Family Member of a user" under Type of Issue.

3. Select “No” when asked “Is the email provided associated with your family member's Discord account?”.

4. Select “No” when asked “Do you have access to the email associated with your family member’s Discord account?”. This will help us direct your request to the appropriate support team for further assistance.

Any refunds outside our standard refund policy may result in disabling your Discord account per our terms.

What to Include in Your Support Request

To help us resolve your case quickly, please provide:

Transaction date and amount
Purchase method (iOS App Store, Google Play Store, Other)
Payment method (credit card, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, etc.)
Payment identifier (e.g., last 4 digits of credit card, PayPal invoice ID, $Cashtag, or Venmo User ID, etc.)
Screenshots of the Discord charges on your bank statement or PayPal statement

Please ensure the screenshot or photo displays the amount, date of transaction, and the merchant descriptor showing as DISCORD* or PAYPAL DISCORD on your bank statement.

For security and privacy reasons, unless you are writing in from the Discord account associated with the unrecognized charges, we do not accept Discord receipts as proof of payment. This screenshot must be directly from the payment source.

Any missing payment information may delay the resolution of your case.

Example of Submitting a Support Request

While we aim to resolve requests within 72 hours, some cases may take longer. To ensure the fastest possible response, please submit only one support ticket per issue—multiple tickets can delay our response time.
